Language Variation Suite is a blog to share some of my exploration and research projects on visualization tools and data analysis in linguistics and digital humanities. My first project Language Variation Suite is an interactive web project to analyze visually and statistically structured data (e.g. from cvs and excel). This application enables researchers without any programming experience to access state-of-the-start data visualization techniques. My second project is focused on digital humanities. Since most of the data consist of text documents, text mining methods are at the core of Interactive Text Mining Suite. Currently, I am working on integrating topic modeling and frequency analysis to scholarly articles. In addition, I am developing visualization methods for comparative analysis of literary work (e.g. original and its translation).
